20Then David arose from the earth, and washed, and all-powerful himself, and changed his clothes, and came into the business firm of the LORD, and worshipped: then he came to his own business firm; and when he required, they gear up bread before him, and he did eat. 21So said his servants unto him, What thing is this that thou hast done? grand didst fast and cry for the child, while information technology was live; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and consume bread. 22And he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who tin tell whether GOD will be gracious to me, that the kid may live? 23 But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? tin can I bring him back again? I shall get to him, but he shall not render to me. 24And David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went in unto her, and lay with her: and she bare a son, and he called his name Solomon: and the LORD loved him. 25And he sent past the paw of Nathan the prophet; and he chosen his name Jedidiah, considering of the LORD. 26And Joab fought against Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and took the royal metropolis.
