This makes 7 Days to Die mods fantastic for tweaking the game to be perfect for you and your player's playstyles on your 7D2D server so that everyone can have a great experience!

HOW TO INSTALL 7 DAYS TO DIE MODS
When installing mods to 7 Days to Die, those mods need to be installed to both your game and server to allow those mods to work. In the steps below, we detail how you can accomplish installing 7 Days to Die mods to both so that you can begin playing modded 7D2D!
INSTALLING 7 DAYS TO DIE MODS TO YOUR GAME MANUALLY
- On Steam open your game library, right-click on 7 Days to Die, and select "Properties…".
- In your game properties, select "LOCAL FILES" and then click "Browse" to access those files.
- In your 7 Days to Die files, locate the "Mods" folder and enter that folder.
- When downloading mods from one of the 7 Days to Die mods websites above, these mods will be contained inside of a .zip file. Open the contents to see how the mod files are formatted. To ensure a mod loads correctly, the format should be /MODFOLDER/ with a "ModInfo.xml" file inside along with additional files.
- If that is not the case, we recommend unzipping that mod's files into an empty folder on your PC and fixing the format like this:
- Once those mod files are ready inside their folder, drag and drop that mod folder inside of your game's "Mods" folder like this.
- Repeat this for each mod you'd like to install and once you're done, it's time to start 7 Days to Die!
- Go back to the main files for your 7 Days to Die game on Steam and locate the "7DaysToDie.exe" application.
- Double-click this to start the 7 Days to Die game without mods. This will ensure that "7DaysToDie_EAC.exe" isn't started, which causes Easy Anti Cheat to load automatically. Easy Anti Cheat must be disabled for mods to load correctly.
